Law Awareness Weeks @ CDC
Law Awareness Weeks @ CDC was launched to equip residents with the resources and knowledge to navigate the legal system.

Law Awareness Weeks@CDC (LAW@CDC) was first established to provide residents with basic legal education through talks held at Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) and Residents' Committee (RC) Centres across the five districts. These talks are tailored to help residents navigate legal terminology and better understand their rights.
Building on its initial success, LAW@CDC has since grown significantly, expanding from a single day of legal talks to a comprehensive eight-week programme. These initiatives further enhance access to justice for residents across the community. This expanded reach is underpinned by a Memorandum of Understanding involving the CDCs, Pro Bono SG (PBSG), three Institutes of Higher Learning — the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) — as well as the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA). Together, this cross-agency collaboration strengthens legal support for the community.
