South West CDC - Koh Kock Leong Graduate Relief and Individual Training (GRIT) Fund

The South West CDC – Koh Kock Leong Graduate Relief and Individual Training (GRIT) Fund will support fresh tertiary graduates from low-income families by equipping them with relevant skillsets for their future workplace through certified online courses and a one-time financial assistance of $500 to help them through this transition period.

CDC Vouchers Scheme

Launched on 12 June 2020 by the five CDCs, the CDC Vouchers Scheme is designed to help identified households defray the cost of living and support local businesses to tide through this COVID-19 period.

Each identified household will receive $50 worth of CDC vouchers (in $2 denomination), redeemable at participating local merchants and hawkers in the heartlands. These participating businesses will display the CDC Voucher Decal.

The CDC vouchers can be used island-wide and is valid till 31 December 2020.

CDC Student Meals Scheme

Launched on 14 April 2020, the CDC Student Meals Scheme will support students from low-income families during the circuit breaker period, to help defray the cost of buying meals while students are on home-based learning.

Eligible students will be given GrabFood vouchers to buy meals from over 7,000 participating food merchants in Singapore. To apply, please refer to the poster below:

SkillsFuture Network @ South West

The SF Network is a collaboration between the South West CDC, Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd (e2i) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to:
⦁ Connect residents to emerging, flexi-work or jobs nearer to their homes;
⦁ Refer residents to help agencies, training providers and employers for seamless holistic assistance with a referral protocol; and
⦁ Support residents in their learning journey with introduction of more alternatives in employment opportunities.
