The five Community Development Councils (CDCs) launched the CDC Voucher Scheme on 12 June 2020.

The five Community Development Councils (CDCs) launched a new local community scheme - CDC Vouchers Scheme - on 12 June 2020. This community scheme is designed to help Singaporean households to defray the cost of living and at the same time, support our local businesses during COVID-19 situation.

Each identified household will receive $50 worth of CDC vouchers (of $2 denomination each), redeemable at participating local merchants and hawkers in the heartlands, with the CDC Vouchers Scheme decal displayed.

On 8 February 2021, the CDCs launched Tranche 2 of the CDC Vouchers Schemes, which ended on 30 September 2021.

During the Budget 2-21 on 16 February 2021, DPM Heng Swee Keat announced the $100 CDC Vouchers for all Singaporean households, to thank Singaporeans for their sense of solidarity during the pandemic and continue supporting out heartland enterprises and hawkers.

The five CDCs will be notifying Singaporean households on the CDC Vouchers Scheme in December 2021. More details will be announced in due course.
