Jobs Nearby @ CDC

Overview 

Jobs Nearby @ CDC is an initiative launched by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on 23 October 2025. The initiative helps residents find local job opportunities near their homes, leveraging on the CDCs' extensive networks with local businesses, SMEs, and community partners. 

The programme aims to: 

• Bridge the last-mile connection between jobseekers and employers. 

• Provide personalised and localised employment support through Job Ambassadors. 

• Connect residents with job opportunities through Community Job Clinics. 

How We Help Resident Jobseekers 

Jobseekers can: 

• Register your interest to specify the type of job you are looking for. 

• Meet with a Job Ambassador at a Community Job Clinic to discuss your skills, needs and preferences. 

• Receive job recommendations from Job Ambassadors near your home based on the District Job Banks. 

How We Help Employers 

Employers can: 

• Connect with residents who are looking for jobs in their community. 

• Receive assistance from Job Ambassadors to match suitable candidates to their hiring needs.
