About Walking Trails @ CDC

Walking Trails @ CDC is an innovative phygital initiative by the five Community Development Councils (CDCs) in collaboration with Government Technology Agency of Singapore’s CrowdTask SG to promote community engagement and an active lifestyle by blending brisk-walking with digital gamification.
 

Residents will have the opportunity to embark on physical trails, complete digital challenges, and earn rewards while spending quality time with friends and family. This initiative aligns with CDCs' commitment to building Healthy and Inclusive communities, for a more active, empowered, and connected community.

About Walking Trails @ CDC (Heritage Edition)

The Heritage Edition was launched on 14 March 2026 and builds on the strong public response to the Walking Trails @ CDC launched in August 2025 as a new series of neighborhood trails that combine physical activity with the discovery of Singapore's rich heritage. Developed with NHB, the trails highlight historic landmarks, cultural sites and everyday spaces that tell the story of Singapore's communities. By bringing heritage into neighborhood walking routes, residents can rediscover familiar districts while gaining deeper insights into the places and traditions that shaped them.

Through the continued expansion, CDCs and NHB aim to encourage residents to stay active while discovering stories of our shared heritage and spaces.

This is the first set of five Heritage Edition Trails, with a total of four sets (20 trails) planned under the initiative. Each trail listing will include the start point, end point, and approximate distance.

WT@CDC Phase 2 Rewards (For Reference)

• Trail Completion Reward    : Up to 5,000 participants who completed a trail will receive a $5 RedeemSG reward per trail.

• Ollie Completion Reward   : Up to 200 participants per month for the first 6 months (March to August 2026) who collected 6 Ollies — (including the newly introduced Mystery Ollie) — will receive a $10 RedeemSG reward.
