Waterways Clean-up @ North West is an initiative launched in 2013 with Waterways Watch Society (WWS) that aims to impart the importance of protection and conservation within our waterways to primary and secondary schools in the district through assembly talk on environmental awareness programmes and litter monitoring programmes.

Through the programme, students will learn about Singapore’s unique waterways system and the importance of conserving Singapore’s water resources and keeping them clean. The students can also take this opportunity to bond and interact with their fellow schoolmates and teachers.

If your school is keen to sign up for this programme, please contact Siti Nazariah at Nazariah_Hasmi@pa.gov.sg.
